Check for compatibility

1. Ensure if the Apple device can make use of the Airprint

• Mac computers running in mac OS (v10.7) or newer
• For the iOS devices running iOS 4.2 or newer

• If the Airprint is not on the list of personalities and options you can update the firmware before continuing

To utilize the Airprint the printer has to be in connection to the same wireless network as the Apple systems have the ability to connect wirelessly or through a wired network.

• Power on the printer and ensure if it is ready
• Make sure if the printer is connected to a wireless network
• Ensure if the iPad, iPod touch, and iPhone are in connection wirelessly to the same connection

Step 3:

You have to find the name of the Airprint. Use this name to select the printer from the Apple device if many printers are in link with the network. You can also modify the Air print's name for making the recognition simple.
